The international symposium “Romanticism Today,” held on September 19-20, 2024, at Umeå University, marked the 20th anniversary of the Nordic Association for Romantic Studies (NARS). Ian Haywood (Roehampton University) opened the event with his keynote on “Romanticism and LSD.” The symposium featured diverse approaches from current research in Romanticism across Scandinavia, continental Europe, the UK, and the USA and expanded the material, digital, aesthetic, and historical boundaries of the field. In a friendly atmosphere, the contributions shaped "Romanticism Today” into an inspiring platform for stimulating discussions. A heartfelt thank you to everyone!
